Mobile Response Center Volunteer
The Mobile Response Center Volunteer supports monthly outreach efforts in Woodstock, assisting individuals and families in need by distributing hygiene and cleaning supplies. This role involves traveling to the designated location on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, setting up and organizing supplies, engaging with recipients respectfully, and ensuring an efficient and compassionate distribution process. Farm Gleaners
Gleaning is the traditional biblical practice of gathering crops that would otherwise be left in the fields to rot or be plowed under after harvest. The Lead Volunteer will oversee and guide volunteer groups participating in food drive activities at the St. Lucy Food Project Manassas Warehouse. This role requires prior volunteer experience with the St. Lucy Food Project (minimum of 1 year) and a referral from Manassas Warehouse staff. Background check required. Key skills and knowledge needed: Supervising and coordinating volunteer group activities, a working knowledge of St. Lucy Food Project Manassas Warehouse operations and safety protocols (including operation of equipment, i.e. pallet jacks), and confident leadership skills.

Volunteer Warehouse Scheduler
The Volunteer Warehouse Scheduler position assists the Part-Time Warehouse Scheduler, whose shift ends on Thursday afternoons. The volunteer will be needed on Thursdays and Fridays to complete any unfinished tasks.Key responsibilities include:-Managing pantry email and telephone orders, coordinating deliveries, and scheduling warehouse logistics.-Signing out vehicle gas cards and keys for volunteer drivers handling pantry deliveries or grocery store pickups.-Contacting pantries to update surveys and ensure accurate food requirement assessments.-Preparing the monthly food distribution report for the Manassas Warehouse as needed.The volunteer will overlap with the Part-Time Warehouse Scheduler on Thursday mornings to review and finalize pending tasks. This position is on-site at the Manassas Warehouse, 8426-28 Kao Circle, Manassas, VA 20110.
