We are looking for people who are interested in leading activities at the center. St. Martin de Porres Senior Center provides activities to high functioning and independent seniors who love to play games and do activities throughout the day. The seniors love playing board games, card games, Wii bowling, team games, Bingo, one-on-one games as examples, and are always ready to learn new activities. Games are available at the center, but if you want to bring in a new game that is good too. A binder is available with how to guides on how to play games that are available in the center. Staff is also available to do refreshers on how to play games/teach how to play the game.

o Requirements: comfortable spending time with seniors, fun personality, independent, self-reliant, adaptable, and patient

o This opportunity is available for all ages, from one person to a group setting. Monday through Friday between 10:00-12:00 and 12:45-1:30

o Training must be completed prior to volunteering: APS training

o Background check will be completed upon registering for those 18+
